Is it really free?
Yes. Completely free for Pathfinders. PullMeUp is funded through partnerships with companies and universities — you never pay anything.
Who are the Pullers?
Professionals at various stages of their careers who've chosen to give back. They're not paid — they're here because they know the value of an honest conversation at the right moment. They have no connection to your institution or your future.
How do you match me?
We use your background, your sector of interest, and the crossroads question you share with us after signup to find a Puller whose lived experience is genuinely relevant — not just by job title, but by the specific decision you're facing.
How long does matching take?
Usually within a few days. We'll email you when your Puller is confirmed and share everything you need before the conversation.
What if the match doesn't feel right?
Tell us and we'll find someone more relevant. A good match matters more than a fast one.
Do I need to prepare anything?
We'll send you a simple preparation guide after you sign up. Coming with one clear question makes the 30 minutes far more valuable — for you and for your Puller.
What if I don't know exactly what I want to ask?
"I don't know if this path is right for me" is one of the most common reasons people come to PullMeUp — and a completely valid crossroads. Share where you are and we'll find someone who can speak to it honestly.
What sectors do Pullers come from?
Logistics, finance, technology, consulting, law, marketing, sustainability and more. If your sector isn't covered yet, tell us — we'll find someone.
Is this confidential?
Yes. Your conversation is between you and your Puller. Nothing is shared with your university, employer, or anyone else without your explicit consent.
Can I have more than one conversation?
Yes — if you're at a new crossroads, you can request another match. PullMeUp is designed for moments of decision, not ongoing mentorship, so each conversation is its own focused session.

What's discussed in the conversation stays between you and your Puller. We may ask for brief feedback afterwards — not to report what was said, but to make future matches better. Read our Code of Conduct for the full picture.
